
The Truth to Power awards is an annual event that recognizes individuals and organizations who use their platform to speak truth to power, challenge the status quo, and promote social justice. The project objective was to create a new brand identity and website design for the Truth to Power awards that would better reflect its values, mission, and impact.
To achieve this goal, we started by conducting a comprehensive brand audit to understand the existing brand identity and its limitations. We also conducted stakeholder interviews and focus groups to gather insights on the event’s target audience, values, and key messages. Based on this research, we developed a new brand strategy that included a new logo, color palette, typography, and messaging.
The new brand identity was designed to be bold, impactful, and inspiring, and to better reflect the values and mission of the Truth to Power awards. The new logo incorporated a megaphone as a symbol of speaking truth to power, and the new color palette included bold and vibrant colors to convey a sense of energy and passion.
Next, we focused on designing a new website that would better communicate the purpose and impact of the Truth to Power awards. The new website design was modern, visually striking, and highly interactive, with a user-friendly interface that made it easy to navigate and find information about the event. We also incorporated social media integration, a blog section, and a gallery of past events to provide users with a more immersive experience.
Throughout the design process, we worked closely with the Truth to Power awards team to ensure that the new brand identity and website design were aligned with their values and objectives. We also conducted user testing and usability testing to ensure that the website was easy to use and provided a positive user experience.
The result of our work was a highly successful redesign of the Truth to Power awards brand identity and website that significantly improved its impact and visibility. The new brand identity and website design were well-received by both internal stakeholders and external audiences, and the event’s attendance and engagement increased as a result. Our work demonstrated the importance of a well-designed brand identity and website design in promoting social justice and inspiring positive change.
