Sobering speedometer signs

I’ve been having more and more opportunities lately to hop in a car and zip out of the city. While enjoying what seems to be the luxury every suburbanite covets, I’ve definitely noticed over the past 5 years that not having a car has effected my [once] keen driving skills. Now, every time I get behind the wheel, I find myself having to quickly shift into an alertness gear that I don’t need riding city transportation. It’s a humble reminder not to forget how dangerous the highway can be. These speedometer signs from Milwaukee-based Cramer-Krasselt are another good reminder. They’re also an innovative use of a municipal mechanism that we’ve all seen, and most likely ignored.
